Requesting Community Delegates and Validator Records | Jan, 2022

Come to apply for community commission, and by the way, summarize the situation in January. The content is mostly the same as last time.

foreword

Because I remembered the wrong time last time, I only need to apply for community commission again this month. In order to add something, let's take a look at the situation of this year 1. But most of the content is the same as the previous one, Application for Community Delegation and Verifier Record | 11, December, 2021 , the content is repeated.

What have you done?

Revenue usage

I have posted the commissioned income and expenses on the Google Sheet . If you have any comments, you can leave a message. A total of 77,795.46 LIKEs were used, and the approximate usage:

September, October 2021 (see previous articles for details, validator records | September, October, 2021 )

  • 166.00 LIKE supported 34 times for 28 creators. 1666 LIKE supported 3 times for 3 creators. The two together cost 10,642.00 LIKE.
  • I bought products from two creators and purchased services from one creator, and spent a total of 786.00 LIKE.
  • The Matters Gold Motor Fund has supported it twice, each with 1,000.00 LIKE.
  • The cost of validator node cost 6,185.10 LIKE in September + October, and the legal currency is 194.64 USD.

November, December 2021

  • 166 LIKE was supported 56 times for 33 creators. 1666 LIKE was supported 7 times for 7 creators. The two add up to 21,458 LIKEs.
  • Purchased products or services from 5 creators for a total of 2,525.00 LIKE.
  • Matters Gold Motor Fund has supported 4 times with a total of 3,664 LIKEs.
  • The cost of the validator node cost 4,708 LIKE in November + December, and the legal currency is 162.55 USD.
  • Support OCF Lab's weekly report 4 times, a total of 498.00 LIKE

January 2022

  • 166 LIKE was supported 48 times for 34 creators. 1666 LIKE was supported 9 times for 9 creators. The two combined cost 22,962 LIKEs.
  • Purchased products or services from 1 creator for 1,115.00 LIKE.
  • Matters supported 1 time with a total of 1,000 LIKEs.
  • The cost of the validator node cost 2,420.77 LIKE in January, and the fiat currency is 76.42 USD.
  • Support OCF Lab's weekly report 2 times, a total of 332.00 LIKE

In the summary of 2021, I found that I have supported many creators who directly use LikeCoin to buy and sell, and some articles about LikeCoin or the community! There are also a few less common creators who silently write a lot. The credits used to purchase goods or services are not used up, this will come on! The cost of the validator node has directly become self delegation, which is a bit of a feeling of sharing weal and woe! But because the number of orders is very high now, the ratio is extremely low.

In January 2022, the number of 1,666 supports has increased a lot because the commission volume has increased a lot. I have thought about it myself, is it good to distribute 1,666 LIKEs in large quantities? There is no conclusion yet, but when I see that I think it is very good, I will still support it! It's just that I will reserve a part of the commission to try to help community friends hold events, or I want to try throwing some commissions into the Osmosis pool, although it may affect the pool's returns, based on the current situation. Seeing that the return is already lower than the commission, I believe that most of my friends will come back to commission, and my commission amount is not much, maybe only 10,000 or 20,000 LIKEs can be put into the pool at most a month. After accumulation, it can help the pool to stabilize to a certain extent (right?). Just try it first, and then adjust it later.

teaching

In the early stage, it mainly focused on helping some new members to build nodes on Discord. Now, because the number of nodes has reached the upper limit, there are almost no new nodes. But I guess after Airdrop, there will be new nodes joining for a while. During the period, I also organized a note . I should find a time to organize the content and put it in https://docs.like.co/ .

In addition, answering some of your questions on Matters and Liker.Social is actually a role similar to Helpdesk. Mainly focus on Liker.Social, I feel that there can be stickers there, mainly short texts, which are convenient for chatting. Moreover, as long as it is published publicly, it is easy to be seen. Now there are many creators in it, and they can also help answer questions and avoid me being busy or not seeing it. In the past few months, although the entry threshold of cryptocurrency has dropped a lot, there are still many questions. You can ask when you encounter difficulties. For beginners, it will be much worse, and try to reduce some sense of loss and disgust. .

There are plans to put together a summary article that comprehensively teaches the methods and functions of using LikeCoin in a decentralized manner. Including: opening Kelpr wallet, transfer with Liker Land, delegation, wallet restoration, IBC to Osmosis, currency exchange, joining liquidity pool, staking liquidity, delegation to other chains, etc. Make a complete Check List, similar to a task list. Many people have written related articles, so I just need to sort them out 😛! This method is also convenient for novices. There is a smooth method to avoid opening a wallet and not knowing what to do.

community affairs

After becoming a validator, I have participated in voting, and I have also written articles to introduce my own ideas and voting options. This aspect will be a place where I want to feel more at ease. I hope more people will write such articles! Now I only write Chinese, or I can try to write English later!

promote

I don’t do much in this regard, and I don’t really think about how to do it. I’m not used to being in the public eye, and I don’t have much time. I reviewed myself and found that at most, I only pushed others to come to Matters to write articles in FB and Discord, but the success rate should be very low. So, just take this one to heart! Or, if there are still so many entrustments in the future, you can find others to cooperate!
