[Rensen Mantou Bao Series] A small step to take a case

Currently a college student in the design department, I want to talk about my recent life and the opportunity to receive a case.

A while ago, I saw the article shared by the change date line, and I felt that freelance work seems beautiful, but it actually depends on self-discipline, time planning, and work ability. After taking the first case, I silently decided not to accept the case for the time being. On the one hand, I felt that my ability was not ready, and on the other hand, I was not sure whether the time control could really be handled well? In addition, after the suspension and resumption of school, the focus was temporarily placed on the schoolwork, such a small idea of taking the case was deeply buried.

Last year and the beginning of this year, when I was working and studying at the same time, I found that I was prone to mental breakdown, and I was too tired to support what I wanted to do. In addition, I was fortunate to apply for the last NPO long-term study partner this semester, so I made up my mind to take good care of my body and mind, so as to be able to study and experience life with heart. After temporarily excluding the option of part-time work, living expenses are still required, so I turned to self-media and case reception.

But in fact, people who start accepting cases will have a question, "Where do the cases come from and where do the works accumulate."

These are very trivial but important questions. Friends of the same age also asked me how the first case came about. I think half of it depends on chance and half on preparation. The first case does not have a portfolio, so the quotation is relatively low. It is a case of relatives and friends, helping to design logos, business cards, and store signs. At that time, my skills were immature, and it was very difficult to do it. Even when I saw the message that jumped out of the line, it would be linked to work and official business, causing a lot of pressure (maybe some of it was also the pressure I put on myself, not sure if I was able to do a good job of self-doubt).

After returning to school for a year, I have accumulated some works, and I have a new understanding of design ideas and brand core values. In addition, all my colleagues in the school have worked very hard, and gradually deepened my goal of learning from them (everyone It's really my role model><), take advantage of the summer vacation to upload your work to Behance, and then send a short article to FB. In short, let the people around you know that you are taking the case, and then the people who need it will come. Talk to you!

In short, I am in the process of accepting cases and preparing to start school recently. I hope there will be new stories to share with you in the future!
