Chihuahua Coin ($HUAHUA) Validators Hold Personal Airdrop

(edited)
Should Giveaway be translated as a personal airdrop?

This is seen on the verifier's Twitter, he does not object to me moving the text over and translating it

(There is a chance to read the original text by mistake and it is more stable)

qualifications

  1. The wallet address needs to have coins (Chihuahua coins, omitted below) before 2022-02-01 12:00am UTC+0
  2. Of the total amount of pledged coins in the wallet address, the amount of coins pledged to 21-100 validators must be at least 50% more than the amount pledged to 1-20 validators
  3. (I think the above sentence is very likely to be wrong. The original sentence is Your address must delegate 50% (or more) to validators ranked 21–100 than to validators ranked 1–20.)
  4. The wallet address needs to be pledged to at least 3 validators
  5. The total pledged amount of the wallet address is at least 8020 $HUAHUA
  6. The wallet address cannot be the validator's self-staking address

Since it will take 28 days to unlock the pledge, the award qualification will be determined at 2020-03-01 12:00am UTC+0

award

  • The reward pool is currently two million $HUAHUA , with donations from outside enthusiasts (if any)
  • 20 people (address right?) will receive 80 cents of the reward pool, i.e. at least 25,000 $HUAHUA
  • All eligible addresses will share the remaining reward pool equally
  • The validator pool will become more decentralized (referring to the staking percentage)

How to Qualify Yourself (Wallet)

I typed this myself, not a translation

(1) = No way XD

(2) = transfer part of the pledge (if necessary), note that the validator (jabbey) who held this personal airdrop is also the top 20

The article is written: If necessary, welcome to transfer the pledge from the validator jabbey

(4) = same as (2)

(5) = pledge, buy without coins

(6) = Normal people don't care...

background

The top 4 validators hold > 33% of the delegations, which poses an existential threat to the network should they simultaneously go offline. If that were to happen, the remaining validators would be unable to achieve consensus and the network would halt until sufficient voting power could come back online. In fact, 80% of the delegations are held by 20% of the validators!

The first 4 validators have >33% stake, and as long as they go offline at the same time, the entire validator network cannot reach consensus (ie the network stops functioning)

Personal Extensions

In addition to this activity, jabbey recently posted on Twitter the performance of Osmosis validators during the epoch ($OSMO) to promote the improvement of each validator

If you have free coins, you can ask him to pledge it (forgot which coins he is a validator, OSMO and Chihuahua must have)
