【National Security Law】Ten Doubts

Every year on October 1st and October 10th, the two "very sensitive" days, there are always some people who try to "challenge national sovereignty" and make a lot of hilarious news, and this year is no exception.

Every year on October 1st and October 10th, the two "very sensitive" days, there are always some people who try to "challenge national sovereignty" and make a lot of hilarious news, and this year is no exception.

On October 1 this year, Huang Jinxing, director of the Environment Bureau, posted a post about the National Day on his IG account, adding an emoji with the Taiwan flag next to the hashtag "National Day Holiday", and the emoji was deleted shortly after. But how could he escape the eyes of a lot of netizens, a large number of netizens have already helped him to cap screen archives, and later on the news. Afterwards, the press secretary of the director replied to the media that he suspected that IG had been hacked. ! This is the crime of splitting the country, and it cannot be laughed at! If it's true, we should ask the director to find this hacker as soon as possible. Off topic, if, assuming, the director himself accidentally released that emoji, will he be held accountable? In addition, the government requires members to swear allegiance to the People's Republic of China and the Basic Law. If they do anything that violates the Basic Law and national sovereignty, they will be subject to DQ. I wonder if this practice is only aimed at members, or is it applicable to all senior officials?

What is unexpected is that the director IG incident has just happened. On October 10th, the homepage of ikea Hong Kong's website was found to mark the day as "National Day". Although the website immediately deleted the relevant words, but how? Faster than netizens, they were cap screened and on the news again.

In the past, ikea Hong Kong has also pumped water to social events many times. For example, the patriotic artist and international brand cut their seats earlier this year. ikea Hong Kong also used a shoe advertisement to describe the artist's "kneeling low", but this is the first time it is so direct. But I believe it was not intentional this time. After all, the National Security Law is so strict that no one dares to challenge national sovereignty head-on. I think there is a good chance that ikea Hong Kong will “translate” their Taiwan website to update the Hong Kong version. This time the error occurred on the website. It can only be said that the sense of crisis is insufficient. I don’t know if it will be settled by the State Security Office after the fall. But if ikea is really accused, I think the director should treat it equally?

No matter what, don’t do anything illegal. Like Zhou Baihao said: When you are a child, you must listen to your mother’s words. Don’t take chances. You can see what happens to Apple. Lin Dian said that the National Security Law will not be counted after the fall account, but it looks like law enforcement has its own set of enforcement standards, so, you know.
