Exhibitor-Singapore Visit

Originally I was going to post a post a week, but I didn’t expect the plan to keep up with the changes. Temporary Hong Kong and Taiwan had to travel, so I didn’t really have much time to stay in Singapore. I asked my colleagues to help with most things first, but the main exhibition is still Come share it.

This time I participated in Innovfest unbound, an innovation and technology exhibition organized by the Singapore government, mainly hosted by the National University of Singapore Enterprise Center (NUS Enterprise) and unBound media. On the Taiwan side, the Ministry of Science and Technology just cooperated with NUS on a soft landing plan, so it provided us with an opportunity to exhibit.

This exhibition is mainly for new and innovative teams and companies to participate. Even large companies, the content of the exhibition will be the company's internal innovation or relatively new services.

In the past, I have also had several experience of exhibiting in Taiwan. Similar to Taiwan, the main focus of the exhibition is to look for business cooperation opportunities or upstream and downstream supply chains. However, because Singapore itself can apply for a foreign exchange license, there are many corresponding companies and related industries in Singapore, and there are many more companies and technical cooperations in the market than in Taiwan. A lot of exchanges, have more understanding of the overall market in Southeast Asia.

It is also worth mentioning that compared to Taiwan, it is closer to the international market. What everyone cares about is not only the development in Singapore, but also how to develop in the overall international market, so the manufacturers who come to talk come from various countries. This also made me realize my own shortcomings. I am not so familiar with the international exchange market, nor do I have a good advantage in entering the international market. These are areas that need to be further improved.

However, I also see many opportunities here. The industry players here have great advantages in related finance, market, strategy, etc., but there is a lack of a large number of talents in the field of technology, and they cannot really control the core technology behind, especially the scale. A small business can only outsource all technologies, and the cost cannot be reduced, becoming a market where big fish eat small fish. If a team with technical development comes here, I think it will have a great advantage.

To put it simply, I have learned a lot of things, and I have a little bit to hone my foreign language skills. Different accents are still a little burden for me. I have also slightly revised my future goals. I hope to make breakthroughs and bring Taiwan to Taiwan. really change.
