自由而死,或死于自由。 www.lonelyreader.com

Need equals perceived importance

VALUE = IMPORTANCE PERCEIVED

I still remember when I took my first sip of Iced Coke, the unique taste and texture hit my soul, and I have been inseparable from Iced Coke in my life.

  • Since then, a regular problem has appeared in my life, and this problem is: the "absence of coke" around me;
  • And this problem will correspond to a solution (Solution), this solution is: "Presence of coke" by my side.
  • When I never had a (Perceive) ice-cola, the problem didn't exist, and the solution didn't make sense to me.

So, this is the material world in my eyes:

Problems perceived = DEMAND

(Perceived Difficulty = Need)

Solutions to that perception = SUPPLY

(Solution to that perception = supply)

So here comes the interesting part:

  • If you live in a place of absolute ease, where everything seems to be perfectly arranged, it's hard to perceive new problems
  • Or you live in less comfort, but you are told that the perceived problems have been like this since time immemorial, and you have to accept that there is no place for new problems until old problems are solved.

However, as long as you have a little curiosity and exploration about the world, you will find that this is by no means the most perfect arrangement; if you are uncompromising and unacceptable to the problems you have already perceived, then you will keep coming up with better ideas. solution, but also face more and more new problems.

This is true of the material world, and the same is true of the spiritual world.

  • I keep pursuing material wealth because I want to eat more amazing food, experience more thrilling technology, live in a better environment, and keep my most comfortable distance from as many people as possible.
  • I continue to pursue spiritual wealth because I want to think about more complex issues, discover more heart-wrenching moments, and never let my ears and eyes suffer in the slightest.

When the two worlds of material and spirit are entangled, various new problems will collide.

You may feel tired~

Then let me tell you, you are not tired because you feel too many problems, but because the problems you feel are always the same. There are too many fetters.

Some people want to simply and rudely make the problem non-existent by giving up material and spiritual desires. But once the problem is perceived, how can it be so easily ignored~

  • Once you have tasted the best food in the world, shredded potato noodles, how can you let go of the pursuit of more beautiful food?
  • Once you have seen the magnificent Milky Way on the silver beach of the Caribbean Sea, how can you let go of the pursuit of a more beautiful journey?
  • Once you have experienced the powerful words of Spinoza and Borges, how can you let go of the pursuit of more beautiful ideas?
  • Once you dabble in Spanish, a language that communicates with God, how can you let go of the pursuit of a more beautiful language?

I'm just getting started, but I want to share with you a little thought question to help you think for yourself:

  • Constantly solving old problems, constantly facing new problems, never tire of it.
  • No longer solve old problems, new problems will not appear, happy and comfortable.

Which of these two is free and easy and detached?
