Haven't shown up for a long time. I've been busy for two weeks and have a holiday this week. It feels like it's finally taking a break.

The last time a five-day holiday was over was in late 2019; then there was the long and indefinite pandemic. I requested a two-week break for the Independence Day holiday today, but the gas and airfare prices during this time made me decide to stay at home.

On Friday afternoon, the girlfriend's company closed early. We're going out for a drink. In the light rain, we came to a small hotel.

The name of the small hotel is View House. The walls of the entire building are glass windows; hence the name View Room. But on such a rainy day, the scenery could not be seen clearly.

There are often sunny and rainy days in Colorado. This is why we often see the entire rainbow.

But we didn't come for the view. Beyond the balcony is a highway linking Canada and Mexico, and in the distance are mountain peaks that can be seen from anywhere in the city. Don't look far here.

The food is not too refined, and small hotels in the United States are all fried things. But I haven't had a drink outside for a long time. Today is also a fresh start.

Sometimes I think it would be nice to have some boiled peanuts. Whenever this happens, I think of the joint code for a plate of peanuts, two liang of old white dry, and half a catty of pork head meat.

Not wanting to "candidly" other customers, the small hotel was full of men and women who came to rest. I haven't seen such a noisy scene for a long time.

I really hope the epidemic is over. We can go back to normal life.
