Ten things you must do before you die|I just want to leave no regrets

(edited)
When I saw this community event, it didn't take long for me to have some ideas. It should have been completed a long time ago. Because of my bad habit of procrastinating, I only started writing it now. I'm really sorry for the wife who initiated the event. I hope that the ten things written below can be done with my wife when I can still walk and move, without regrets.

1. Watch the aurora

Auroras are luminous phenomena caused by charged energetic particles from the magnetosphere and the solar wind being guided into the Earth's atmosphere by the geomagnetic field and colliding with atoms in the upper atmosphere. (Wikipedia) Although it is a physical phenomenon, the colorful aurora is rendered in the night sky, which is a kind of dreamy touch, and I feel that life is always

Take your wife to see it once. And I also want to propose to her again under the aurora, it will be very romantic. The aurora needs to be seen in high latitude areas, and it is feasible to go to the North Pole or the South Pole, but I checked it and everyone seems to go to the North Pole to see it, it should be a relationship with more choices. If we were still in Europe, I think it would be nice to go from northern Europe.

It costs about 70,000 yuan to see people go to Sweden to see the aurora.

2. A Journey to the Bible

As a Christian, I have seen many deeds in the Old Testament and New Testament, and there are many place names in Israel and surrounding areas. Although I can generally understand the background and meaning after checking the materials and annotations, I have never seen or walked through it myself. It doesn't always feel deep enough. For example, how did Moses and the Israelites find wood to build their tents while wandering in the wilderness? How did Jesus and his disciples live at that time? The four journeys of the apostle Paul up to her martyrdom and death for the Lord, what was his journey like? The above process makes me curious. The few words that are understated in the book may be that they have worked so hard to complete or arrive, so I really want to have such an experience, so that when I re-read the Bible, I can be more immersive.

3. Japanese food

Recently, I have been watching a lot of local Japanese food videos with my wife, and the ramen, fried food, and rice bowls are all very exciting. There is really nothing to do during the epidemic, coupled with Japan's recent lockdown, prohibiting foreigners from entering. I hope to have the opportunity to go to Japan to eat local delicacies after the epidemic is over.

4. Visit relatives

There are many family relatives, and it is usually possible to see all of them during the Chinese New Year, but they often just nod and say hello, and there is no in-depth intersection. I only know what their titles are, but I don't necessarily know their occupations, what they have done, or even their names. So I want to visit them one by one in my lifetime.

5. Talk to your family well

Although I spent a lot of time with my family from childhood to adulthood, there are many words that may still be hidden in my heart, and I haven't told them well. In addition, I also want to take advantage of the time to ask about the oral history of my family for future generations.

6. Give the inheritance to the wife

This is a very important thing. The average life expectancy of men in Taiwan is generally shorter than that of women, and this year's figures show that men are seven years younger than women. If you want to give all your property to your wife and children after you die, you don't need it. They need to be self-reliant, not dependent on their parents.

7. Maintain a healthy diet

Recently, I started to pay attention to diet, because after I arrived in Europe, I often bought some cheap local food in order to save money at first, and my stomach was a little uncomfortable. After switching from refined foods to an organic diet, my stomach feels much better. I hope that I can continue to maintain this habit in the future and eat more organic vegetables and fruits.

We are currently booking this:

8. Exercise well

After arriving in Belgium, I really found that there is a difference in sports. I ride my bike to the lab every day, about six kilometers back and forth (by bicycle, and the school is subsidized by the kilometer). Sometimes I go to pick up goods or buy things, etc., and I will ride a few more kilometers. In just three months, I feel a lot of weight loss, and I lost 6 kilograms. The years to come will also continue.

9. Maintain a good mental state

After I came to Europe, my working hours were reduced, my life became slower and less compact, and my mood became better. I hope that life will continue like this in the future, and of course if I can stay in Europe and find a job, I can continue to do so. If things go against my expectations, I hope to continue this slow life when I return to Taiwan, with both work and life quality at the same time.

10. Healthy retirement

After watching the documentary "The Fruit of Life", a Japanese couple, I felt that I wanted to live such an old age with my wife. But I am not like the Japanese grandfather who is an architect himself. He can design and build houses and gardens by himself, and the money on hand is not necessarily enough. After all, the housing prices in Taiwan are very expensive. Recently, I saw an alternative solution on the Internet. You can use the way of buying a container house to replace the lack of funds for buying a house. As long as you have a piece of farmland or rent a piece of farmland, the house will be fine as soon as the crane is hung. The open space next to it can be designed with small bridges and flowing water, garden landscapes, and vegetable gardens can be cultivated for self-sufficiency.

Conclusion:

The Northern Lights tour, Israel tour and Japanese food tour, I want to be able to do it while doing my PhD in Belgium. For the part of healthy retirement life, you need to have enough money and plan in the past four or five years, and you can complete the actions in the selected location when you finish the graduate school. For the inheritance part, see if you want to write the suicide note first, and check how to write the suicide note. The other parts have to start now. I hope the above ten things can be accomplished as desired.
