On this day, one of the sisters invited us to pick vegetables. She lives in Xintian, near Lok Ma Chau. She has to commute to Shenzhen every week, so it is more convenient to live in the suburbs. The first time I went to this place, if it wasn't for her inviting us to pick vegetables, I wouldn't know that there is such a special place in Hong Kong.

A friend planted peppers and green peppers at the door of the house. She planted all kinds of vegetables in a nearby mud field. This field is not hers, and anyone can come and pick up the vegetables she planted. On this day, we picked a lot of fresh vegetables and came home full of rewards.

In the evening, I received a message from one of the sisters. I met you today and wanted to tell you something, but I didn’t know how to say it. She said that she would leave our fellowship and move to another fellowship in the new year. See you later, we will still go on outings together. I have known her for five years. It was really sudden when I received this news. Although I was very saddened, I knew that she must have made this decision after careful consideration. I hope she will grow even more in the future.

There was no rain that day, but it was very hot. Although I kept spraying mosquitoes for fear of water, I was still itchy from mosquito bites.
