All Be F: Just a Puzzle Novel

Introducing an out-of-print novel that some people regard as a classic, but I don't think so. But what is interesting is that this book was written around 1995, and the technological life mentioned in the book is fulfilled one by one in reality, which is very powerful.

Introducing an out-of-print novel that some people regard as a classic, but I don't think so. But what is interesting is that this book was written around 1995, and the technological life mentioned in the book is fulfilled one by one in reality, which is very powerful.

I hadn't read Mori Hiroshi's novel before, so I came to read it when I saw someone else introduced the book to be exciting and I couldn't guess the ending.

The novel tells the story of a talented girl who killed her parents at the age of fourteen. She was found not guilty, but she has been isolated in a research room on an isolated island. Fifteen years later, she was killed and dismembered in a secret room. How on earth did the murderer kill in the secret room? The deceased left a last word in the computer "all become F" is the key to solving the puzzle, but what does it mean? Communication on the isolated island is cut off, and the death toll continues to mount. Who is the murderer?

Murder in a secret room seems to be an essential element of natural reasoning. Although the secret room killing puzzles and answers in "All Becomes F" are wonderful, they are really unreasonable to me, and they are very unreasonable. From the beginning, I didn't understand why the talented girl was acquitted by the court, but she was trapped in the research institute, and she was under heavy surveillance and could not leave? Maybe because I don't understand this, there are more parts of the novel that I can't understand.

Regardless of the ending, the process of watching "All Be F" has never been satisfied. The biggest mystery of the book is the murder in the secret room. Even if someone is killed in the future, everyone will be trapped on an isolated island, but there is no mountain. The sense of crisis that the rain is about to come, the process is long and dull.

At the end, I realized that all the deployments of the original novel were designed to solve puzzles, so the characters, backgrounds, relationships, and psychological changes were not written deeply enough. The murderer and the murdered were just tools at the mercy of the author. , without living out its own personality, readers probably won't have sympathy for any of the characters, and that's probably why I don't like this book. And I think there are too many unreasonable things, too many to ignore, so I can't agree that this is a good novel.

Even if Keigo Higashino writes a mystery novel, the characters are detailed and moving, and the details are rich and the plot is reasonable. Even if the puzzle solving of "All Be F" is wonderful, it lacks the motivation to convince readers, and it is only reduced to a puzzle solving novel.
