Old wine in a new bottle - back in the sixties?

Today's China has the feeling of a gradual return to the 1960s. very bad!

At that time, the media and public opinion were also full of propaganda about various "heroes". History has already told us what kind of results they ended up with. The difference between old bottles and new wines is that the most popular people in that era were military soldiers, so the "heroes" basically came from that group. After a long period of brainwashing, ordinary people sincerely believed that all this propaganda was taken for granted and in line with the truth. Now that the times are different, it is obviously difficult to continue to promote such characters and groups, and it is obviously difficult to gain widespread recognition. Therefore, the propaganda objects are naturally transformed into groups that seem to have more "contributions" to real social life. Sixty years ago "liberation" was the main theme, today "getting rich" is the main theme, and the difference between the "propaganda" they manipulate is nothing more than that. Another point of the extreme similarity between the two is that anyone who does not agree with their propaganda may be "persecuted". We have seen such a "prosperous scene" in the past two days.

Seeing so many people follow suit, and many of them even claim to be "independent thinkers", I can't help but feel sad...

A generation has not died, it has been quickly forgotten!
