One of the world's largest stock exchanges is warning the public to beware of cryptocurrency scammers. Japan Exchange Group (JPX) claims that the scammers used its logo and brand name without its consent.

Japan Exchange Group (Japan Exchange Group) is a business merger of Tokyo Stock Exchange Group and Osaka Stock Exchange, which is second only to New York Stock Exchange, NASDAQ, Shanghai Stock Exchange and Hong Kong Stock Exchange, etc. It is the fifth largest stock exchange operator in the world.

The Japan Exchange Group is a financial instrument trading marketplace that provides trading market users with a reliable platform for listed securities and derivatives. In addition to providing market infrastructure and market data, it also provides clearing and settlement services through central counterparties, and conducts transaction supervision to maintain market integrity. In our full-service journey together as an exchange group, we will continue to do everything we can to ensure a reliable market and create greater convenience for all market users.

In its public warning, the company noted that it has been receiving inquiries from various sources regarding cryptocurrency exchange JPEX. This company uses a name, logo and URL similar to ours, such as JPEX and JPX. It clearly states that it has no relationship with the company and has been using its brand name and logo without its knowledge or consent. These scammers use various false pretenses to promote cryptocurrencies with hype and establish cheaper and efficient trading platforms.

One of the targets of these scammers is celebrities, such as Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, and even former US President Donald John Trump. To further make them appear authentic, the scammers also pose as local celebrities.
