The first quick screening results in two lines—Isolation Diary Day2

Day2

2022.05.07.(Sat) Day2

When I woke up in the morning, my body felt lighter, and the heaviness of yesterday was swept away, and the fever was completely gone! I began to think about where to do PCR if the quick screening was positive. After finding a good location, I just waited for the arrival of the quick screening. At 10:30, my brother told me to go downstairs to get something. There should have been only a small box of quick sieves, which turned into two large bags of food. He and his sister-in-law should think that I have a high chance of "winning" and have already helped me prepare for isolation. The food I need is very touching. There are all kinds of frozen meat products, dumplings, noodles, coffee, etc., plus some original things at home, I feel like I can't eat it all in a week!

When I got home and sorted out the things, the main thing was to start the quick sieve. I had never done it before, and I didn't know how to do it. After washing my hands, I opened the quick sieve box, and spent a lot of time studying the instructions carefully, and I was ready to open it. When I was using the reagents, I still couldn't figure out which package contained what; I found the reagents, but I couldn't tear it apart with my fingernails for a long time. Only in the end did I realize that they had designed it well! After busying for a while, I positioned all the items and arranged the items in the same order according to the instructions. I was afraid that my own mistakes would affect the correctness of the test results.

The most uncomfortable part of the whole process is to use the cotton swab to rotate in the nasal cavity. After finishing one nostril, I have already burst into tears and sneezed wildly. Put it in the reagent and follow the steps carefully; when I pour the liquid in the reagent into the round hole of the test piece, one drop, two drops, three drops, the line next to "C" on the test piece will appear soon, you can feel the round hole The liquid in it is slowly seeping in, flowing, flowing, and flowing to the "T" on the side. Almost at the same time, a light pink line appeared. I was very puzzled. The manual said that it would take 15-20 minutes to see the result , why did it appear right away, I rubbed my eyes, read the manual several times, and started to OS: "Is there something wrong with my Chinese?" Later, I stared back at the test piece, and the shallowness became more and more obvious. , but it's only been 2 minutes from now on! I still didn't give up and waited for the 15 points set by the phone, "Is this positive?" I was suspicious, and looked at the numbers that were running fast. Within 15 minutes, my brother called and said: "Have you hit it?" I said hesitantly, "I hit it!"

Don't want to accept this result? Or did you destroy the reagent yourself? However, no matter how you wait, 15 minutes have passed, 20 minutes have passed...everything that flows will leave traces, and the increasingly clear T-line has never disappeared.

After running the quick screening trip, the next step is PCR testing. I found a hospital that is seeing outpatient clinics and testing on weekends. The clinic there is a separate location outside the hospital, not inside the hospital, because it arrives at 12:30 noon. In the clinic area, there are only a few people queuing up. Only those who are quick-test positive and symptomatic can come to register. The boy in front of me has a yellow knotted plastic bag in his hand, and it feels like his ID is in it. , mine is in an airtight bag. When it was my turn, the nurse asked me if I had two lines. I didn't say anything but nodded, for fear of squirting my saliva. Then she asked for some basic information. When she was entering the information, the noon sun hit her face. On, looking at her behind the transparent plastic board, wearing protective clothing and goggles, I wonder if she will be very hot? After a while, she gave me her health insurance card and a simple outpatient number list. She explained to me that the doctor would start at two o'clock, see the doctor at the corner, and then get the medicine at a price after reading it. Thank you for her careful account of my little white.

I took the list and saw that it was already on number 122. At the moment I thought it was a bit too much, but later I found out that it was only one third of the total. Looking at the watch, the hour hand had not reached 1, and it was a long time before I wanted to find a place to sit. Next, I walked to the outdoor outpatient waiting area. There were still people who had not finished reading it in the morning. In addition to the waiting people, the whole outdoor was already full. I had to go outside and have a look. I found that there was an open space opposite the hospital. Yin also had a place to sit, so he decided to rest there.

Where do I sit, I can't look at my phone, I can only look at the street, look at the clouds in the sky, the weather is a little overcast, the breeze blows cool, I look at my watch, it's a long time, and I flip through my bag, nothing I didn't bring it, so I had to look at the street again, looking at the clouds in the sky, and I felt a sense of tranquility in my heart, which was good; the phone was about to run out of power, which might be a good thing, and I wouldn't keep slipping anxiously. Sitting across the street from the hospital, watching the queues gradually appearing in the registration area, it seems as if you are starting to practice pre-isolation now.

When it was almost two o'clock, I decided to go back to the door of the outpatient clinic and wait, expecting that the number would jump quickly. Find a place to sit outside the outpatient waiting area. This is the waiting area, filled with black chairs. I sit on the far side, and the number light is just blocked.

Sitting, I saw the boy in front of me when I registered, holding his yellow plastic bag, standing in front of me to the right, looking at my mobile phone, and occasionally going to check the number.

Sitting, I saw people waiting on the stairs leading to the second floor. Sometimes he would drink water, and sometimes he would talk to the person in front of him. I don't think he needed to look at the number, and only later found out that the person in front of him Two teenagers would help him see, "it could be his child".

Sitting, I found that the people in front, behind, and next to me were coughing, not the constant cough, but here and there, and occasionally for me, one after another. Sitting, almost everyone is patiently looking at their phones, few people talk, and I can only look at the number and what other people are doing. In life, there will always be a lot of waiting; waiting requires wisdom.

When the number light rings, there will be a pattern and rhythm. After a quiet period of time, it will jump to the number for several consecutive times. Every time it ding-dong, I will be very curious whether it will just jump to my number, but all the time. It's because I think too much, so sometimes I close my eyes and count how many times it ding-dong to judge the current number, so that I don't have to keep looking at it; in fact, I need to wait in a different way. It was almost four o'clock, and the number was about to break 100. Several people who were waiting near me left one after another. Later, even the boy with the yellow plastic bag left. It was time for me to go to the front.

There are still many people at the door. The nurse patiently explained and called the number. Please give him the list when the number arrives. Everyone wants to quickly take their turn. They are looking at the number lights and the clinic. They are afraid Didn't hear the nurse calling me; when my name was called, it was a blessing to sit inside and wait, the simple chair was as comfortable as a massage chair. When I entered the clinic, the doctor asked a brief question, and I quickly explained all the symptoms. He also asked some basic medication information. Finally, the doctor reminded that if you have persistent chest tightness, shortness of breath, etc., you should hurry up. Back at the hospital, in his low, tired voice, he felt a sense of concern for his patients.

The next trip is to do PCR. I took the test sheet and embarked on another waiting road. Fortunately, there were not many people here, and it was my turn at once. I saw the nurse holding the same cotton swab as my quick screen. There was a kind of intimacy. She took the test very skillfully. After finishing one side, I thought I would have to get the other side, so I just waited there foolishly until another nurse patted me, and I didn't know it was over.

After paying and taking the medicine, I rode my little black dog home happily.
