Limited Edition Community Activities | Use Logbook to write down the words you cherish most and want to pass on

Celebrating the launch of the new version of Logbook (for Traveloggers), Matty took out a "Traveloggers Community Fund" and invited everyone to use Logbook to write the words you value most, want to save, and want to pass on to others!

This is a creation activity on the blockchain, and all works (Logbook) can be sold on OpenSea. This is also an experiment. How will creating on the blockchain change our creative behavior? When once written, the work can no longer be modified, when the ownership of the work is confirmed only by you through the blockchain record, and no one else can delete or review your work - when these changes happen, what will we write? what kind of text?

We invite you as creators to explore together.

The rules for launching the "Travelloggers Community Fund" creative activities are as follows:

1. The sponsor must be a Matter user who holds a Logbook (Reminder: Travelloggers holders have received 0.5 MATIC airdropped by Matters, which can be used to create Logbooks.)

2. The event must be open to all Matt City users to participate

3. Creation location: Use the new version of Logbook to create. Either co-creation (writing content in a Logbook and transferring it to the next author to relay creation) or using separate Logbooks is fine.

Q: What is the co-creation model?
The co-creation mode means that after a Matt City user who holds a Logbook writes the content for the first time, the Logbook is transferred to the next one, and so on, until all authors complete the creation on the same Logbook . That is, a mode of relay creation. You can refer to the case of "2022 Oracle" to understand the co-creation model.
In the co-creation mode, only one Logbook is needed, that is, someone needs to provide the Logbook as the first stick. Other authors do not need to hold the Logbook in advance, but only need to have an encrypted wallet address.

4. The sponsor needs to post a specific proposal in Matters.News, including:

(1) Description of the theme of the activity (eg: a sentence I want to leave to the world)

(2) Activity form (such as text solitaire, story solitaire, essay creation or poetry creation? Basically, any creative activity can be used, etc.)

(3) Activity rules: write clearly:

  • Event start and end date: Suggested between 14-60 days
  • Bonus distribution rules, which awards are available, how the ranking is calculated, etc. All prizes must be used to encourage creativity
  • If the event adopts a co-creation model, how will this Logbook be distributed after it is sold?

(4) Available funds for the event: Each event can get up to 100 MATIC of funds. Matty will provide 3000 MATIC in funding to the community.

What is MATIC? Polygon is a sidechain compatible with Ethereum, and Polygon's token is MATIC. Due to the high gas fees of Ethereum, Polygon is very popular because it can solve the problem of high fees.

(5) The sponsor must publish a case closing report on Matters.News after the event. After confirming that the content and the bonus calculation are correct, Matty will transfer the bonus to the proposer, who will distribute it to each winner.

(6) Calculation method of bonus:

Prizes will be determined by these three items:
A: The total number of people participating in the creation (according to the actual number of participants after the event ends), more than two people are required
B: Among the people who participated in the creation, the number of people holding Travelloggers (subject to the Matters account showing Xiaojushu)
C: There are several Logbooks sold in OpenSea (the floor price must be above 0.01 ETH)

Total bonus (MATIC) = Ax1+Bx4+Cx5

Note: The case closing report needs to include the above three data, that is, it needs to list the total number of creators and the corresponding published Logbook URLs, the number of people holding Travelloggers and their accounts, and the Logbook / OpenSea URLs with sales records, etc.

5. Thresholds for the establishment of the event: The event launch text must get a message from Matty saying "this event can be launched after Matty's confirmation" . Since this event is open to the citizens to make their own rules, Matty will help everyone to confirm whether there are loopholes in the rules to avoid disputes in the future. Matty will leave a message for confirmation within 12 hours of the launch, and if you have any questions, you will be asked immediately. However, the situation of each activity is different, the more complete the activity, the faster it can be approved.

6. Sort out the order of events for everyone:
(1) The sponsors put forward specific plans in Matters.News
(2) After the plan is released, please leave a message in the comment area @ Matty
(3) Matty will confirm the content of the proposal within 12 hours of being called, if there is any problem, it will be raised. The event starts now
(4) After the event, the sponsor publishes the closing report on Matters.News, and @Matty
(5) Matty confirms that the content of the closing report is correct and issues bonuses
(6) After the promoter receives the bonus, it will be transferred to the winner

7. Proposal launch date and event deadline: From now on, all Matt City users who hold Logbooks can initiate proposals until the event bonus is used up. Matty will give advance notice of how many events are left.

8. According to the development of the activity, the relevant rules may be adjusted. If there are any unfinished points, Matty's explanation is the main one.
