"The Best Way to Bless Candidates"

(edited)
This is not self-comfort. This is a peace of mind and stability. When your mind is settled, you have the strength to keep going.

As a candidate who has been ups and downs in the formal/agent teaching exam for many years, I gradually feel pain for all kinds of encouragement and blessings.

I want to say to those around me:

"Stop calling me to cheer up, okay? I'm tired. Can I rest?"

"Don't tell me again, 'I will pass the test this time', I'm afraid I won't pass the test and I'll let you down again..."

"I'm afraid to hear you say 'Come on, you'll do it', and every time you fail the exam, you're telling me, 'You can't do it anymore'..."

I know I have a love for education. I know how serious I am at work. I know how many desperate children I have rescued over the years.

However, these were never presented in a few minutes of teaching examinations.

I may be a good teacher, but I'm not a qualified candidate, and I can't act the way the examiners want.

For those encouragement, blessings, and expectations, I have also gained strength because of this, and I am deeply grateful to everyone who sincerely blessed me.

But after so many years, gradually, I only feel sorry.

I'm sorry for my efforts. Sorry for the expectations of friends and family. Sorry to everyone who has blessed me. I'm sorry for my ideal of being a teacher. I'm sorry for my splendid youth.

One day, when I was anxious about failing to take the exam for next year's acting school, my mother said to me gently:

"You can say to the Bodhisattva in your heart: 'Please guide me to a school that is most suitable for me.'"

"Bless you! Bless you to a school that suits you best."

At that moment, there seemed to be something very heavy in my heart, and I let it go a little.

Since then, I have always said to those who are close to me:

"Don't tell me, 'Come on, you can do it', I will be very stressed. You can say to me: 'Ask the Bodhisattva to guide you to a school that suits you best'."

This sentence is like a warm force, pushing me forward. From then on, whether I am winning or falling off the list, I know that it is the best arrangement for me.

Later, I often used this sentence to comfort other candidates, whether it was a teacher who took the test, or a student preparing for the entrance exam.

Before speaking, I always ask the other person: "Do you have any religious beliefs or any gods or bodhisattvas that you believe in?"

Then, replace the "Bodhisattva" in that sentence with the object the other party believes in.

For example, if the person is Christian, say, "You can pray to Jesus and ask him to direct you to the school that is best for you."

If the other person has no religious beliefs, you can say, "You can ask God to direct you to a school that suits you best."

Otherwise, you can say: "You can bless yourself in your heart, 'Bless me to go to a school that suits me best.'"

This is not self-comfort. This is a peace of mind and stability.

When your mind is settled, you have the strength to keep going.

I wish every candidate who sees this article to be able to take the test in a place that is most suitable for you.
