【Mi Gao Mint #016】Game Design and Gambling Elements

Recently working with a team to create a game project, the team inadvertently thought of adding gambling elements. Perhaps, everyone thinks that the gambling element will have income.

I also believe that there will be income, but there are not many people who actually participate. On the contrary, the flow and desire of game participants are often limited because of the gambling element.

Games with gambling elements, few people play, but high income.

For casual breeding games, many people play, but it is difficult to generate income.

To strike a balance between the two, it is necessary to add some "show off" and "social" elements, so that leisure projects can allow users to share more actively and attract a larger community.

If the project is coupled with the chain game or NFT model, leisure projects will be better than gambling projects.

When a project has gambling elements and users make money and want to share it, everyone will be embarrassed, and it seems to be a bit of a "scam".

However, when users make money on casual NFT games, even if it is only a dollar. Because the project is casual, they will be more willing to share, and even take the initiative to teach their friends in the currency circle how to earn these tokens.

I am more optimistic about the development of leisure projects in the chain circle and NFT circle. In the past, I have operated more than 100 sets of online and mobile games. Among them, my colleagues often told me: "Games are actually paid communication tools for players. They talk more inwardly than fight monsters, but they are actually gatherings."

I think that friends in the currency circle prefer to have communication channels. Always, friends in the real world do not understand the life of the currency circle and have nowhere to talk. Only the currency circle is the "true friend" at this stage.
