Matters old man punch card - "Come for money, stay for love"

(edited)

I have always been a person who can't multitask at the same time, because I know that I am "easy" to be distracted, and when I am "distracted", I will "dissolve" several things together and fail. Therefore, in the past few decades, forced training yourself can not be multitasking. In many cases, one thing is "familiar", and with practice makes perfect, it is time to do or learn the second thing.

Coming to Matters and LikeCoin is the second thing I want to learn on the blockchain, or the second blockchain project.

This article is an old punch card, I dug out some old LikeCoin history. In Christmas 2017, my friend Gao Jianhua came to my home in the deep mountains one day to share what he wanted to do. Of course, I also forgot whether I clearly named it "LikeCoin". At that moment, I was completely ignorant of blockchain, and I still only regarded blockchain as "points" and "exchange gifts" in my mind.

Then I slowly saw him appearing in the media and sharing about LikeCoin, and I followed in his footsteps and went to two parties. While listening, I can't figure it out. But every party has an "airdrop", which is LikeCoin. Slowly, I entered the Steem project because I wanted to understand the blockchain. At the same time, LikeCoin also started an ICO. It is logical that I sold a little Steem and became a part of the LikeCoin ICO in May 2018.

At that time, my "gold mining ability" in Steem was limited, and it was only about $30 a month. So, in this ICO, I really participated in $30. Plus, I bought the "Game for Dao" plan with a credit card.

Back then, I really tried to become a LikeCoin blogger, I actually opened Medium and added the LikeCoin plugin. Start my LikeCoin journey.

This is my Medium back then - https://medium.com/@honor.u

Gao Jian’s family sent a book to my Co-working Space, and we talked for a while. At that time, he was planning a validator.

Looking back now, I am a relatively lucky Matters blogger to be able to talk to the gods up close. However, in fact, I never knew what he was doing and what the blockchain could do for creators.

And I, too, slowly followed and only focused on blockchain knowledge mining on Steem.

Until November 2019, the news of the cooperation of Matters x LikeCoin suddenly came out. And I also feel that I'm "fairly familiar" with Steem, and it's time to get to know another blockchain project. At that moment, I joined here.

Back then, "fairly familiar" meant that I already knew how to "dig for gold" by "writing articles". Steem has become one of my ATMs, and it still is today. In the past two years, basically I have participated in every blockchain project, and I no longer have to buy my own pockets. Steem, who is born every day through articles, can support me in participating in different projects.

When I first came to Matters, my original intention was to see if I could become another ATM. It turns out that the income from Matters x LikeCoin is too low. At that time, I couldn’t actually be a Matters blogger, I could only be a “Matters x LikeCoin player”, and slowly climbed to the highest position in Matters’ unofficial statistics that year. There were even many days when the LikeCoin I got every day exceeded more than "Stance News".

Even so, in fact, the amount is really not much, can it really support the creators to continue to create?

If you bring back more than a year ago, you should often see many articles on the value, transaction amount and return of LikeCoin. But every discussion is actually discussing the dollar value of LikeCoin at the "moment" or "the month".

I just took a screenshot of the dollar value of LikeCoin at the end of November 2019 when I first joined Matters, compared with today. At the beginning it was $0.0028, today it is $0.0209, and it has increased by 7.46 times in one and a half years!! If all the LikeCoins in your hands have not been sold over the years, but all of them have been stored, I believe this must be the highest return on investment in your life. one of the projects.

However, how many people really saved it all? I only really saved it at the beginning of this year. I sold most of the LikeCoins I received last year.

"Come for money, stay for love" is a famous quote written by my blogger on Steem @yellowbird. Indeed, in participating in different blockchain projects, I do participate "for the money" (the euphemism is "learning"). The main reason is that I successfully made Steem into one of my ATMs, hoping to replicate another ATM in other blockchain projects. To be honest, I couldn't make Matters and LikeCoins into an ATM.

I changed my mind unknowingly, and the most important thing is to "paint" with everyone at Matters.

I never thought that I would communicate with you through Matters, from the beginning of a painting of Peanuts:

In just a few months, I can draw a picture like this:

Even the more I draw, the more I am amazed, "So I have this ability":

Before I knew it, I had painted almost 200 paintings like this:

For the past six months, I have not paid much attention to the LikeCoin income on Matters. Even if my friends want to "sell LikeCoin", I will accept them all and store them by myself. I'm probably the least involved in the perimeter project on Matters. The main reason is that I can't find the "steadiness" in other platforms.

At present, there are actually many blockchain content platforms and NFT platforms. I have basically touched most of them, but also most of them are "for money", hoping to "get quick money" or hope for nothing. Obtaining blockchain currency is like a "faucet website".

But when I came to Matters, I didn’t know why, and I suddenly felt “pressure” in my mind. I had to be more serious when posting, leave messages meaningful, and don’t communicate rashly. I slowly realized that I like to "stay here".

Over the past three years, in my real-life home, I have moved from my original "deep mountains" to a more remote suburban area, in fact, to the border of Hong Kong. Basically, apart from the lives of two couples and the social enterprise trainees who train on weekends, we are close to not having contact with "real people". However, through these "blockchain platforms for writing articles", I have met a group of friends who communicate more and are more familiar than in real life.

Perhaps, apart from the content platform of the blockchain, it can be more frank. Of course, there are also many people who deceive and lie, and copy the content, and this type of people, I believe everyone has naturally "blocked".

Originally "for the money", but interestingly, I only learned a few days ago that LikeCoin has risen a lot. I found that I had ignored the "price" of LikeCoin for a while; I continued to communicate, but I saw the "value" in it.

And the most important place, the "serious mode" in Matters (at least for me), gives me some ability to "unlock". Quite surprising and special.
