And our anti-fraud expert backstage also found that many people asked us for such a text message, but fortunately they were blocked by us:

Someone on Cofacts also asked for a similar newsletter, but the points and the URL are different

One-page scam: IKEA balance exchange store

In the past, the most one-page scams we have seen are used for shopping. Although this website looks like an exchange mall, it is actually a variant of a one-page shopping website.

1. The URL does not have SSL

SSL certificate usually means that this is a more trustworthy e-commerce company. Generally, personal websites or blogs do not attach much importance to SSL, but corporate image websites and e-commerce websites must be used.

The easiest way to check whether there is a web page encryption (SSL) certificate for a website is to see whether the beginning of the website is http or https . If it is https, it means that there is an SSL certificate, if not, it will only be http.

If you have never bought an IKEA product, but you receive this text message, don't think it's a gift from God, and think about using it as soon as possible!

4. Limited time, limited snap

"Limited time limit" has always been a sign of scam websites. Scammers like to count down to make people feel that time is pressing, or how many people have exchanged this product to make people feel that they want to grab it quickly, and then see that the price is very cheap, It is easy for people to lose their ability to judge and directly place an order.

5. Buttons are not responding

Fraud websites often make the webpage very rough, and even some buttons do not respond when clicked, or go to "404 Not Found" when clicked, or return to the homepage every time they click, etc.

On this website, the "Customer Service" button doesn't respond no matter how you press it, not only that his website is not well done, but also that he has no customer service! ! If something goes wrong, who should be responsible for it (he actually never wanted to be responsible...)

6. Only cash on delivery

One-page shopping scams usually limit the payment method to "cash on delivery". On the one hand, people will feel at ease because they only pay when they get the goods, but it is very likely that you will find that it is rotten when you return home after paying and open the box. But it's too late at this time. On the other hand, it also reduces the difficulty of the police's search. After all, if you have a remittance record or a credit card record, the police can easily freeze the financial account of the fraudulent website and list it as a warning account, but cash on delivery The difficulty will increase, and many people will touch their noses and admit compensation because they want to say that they have got something.

7. The website was established for too short time

This self-proclaimed IKEA newsletter was inquired about a week ago, that is, on 7/1, and the WHOIS records show that the website of ikeety[.]com was created on 6/27

The establishment time of the website is too short to be the official website of IKEA. And since this exchange mall has just been established, how can it be possible to accumulate a balance of ten or twenty thousand to exchange it!

Moreover, we also checked another domain http[:]//yijiays[.]com recently used by IKEA Balance Newsletter, and found that this website was not even established until 7/5. This is because the website they originally used was later used. It was dismantled by anti-fraud experts, and even blocked by 165, the telecommunications industry, etc., so it is necessary to quickly set up a new website to continue defrauding.
