We all know that AI art will eventually be used this way

On August 9, 2022, The Atlantic's tech reporter Charlie Warzel's Newsletters article used generative art illustrations. He said on social media:

i promoted this myself. the avenue i have to illustrate my newsletter is a getty account and i was momentarily tired of using the same image of Jones. i was playing around w/ midjourney as i've seen other newsletter writers do & decided to try this. i don't think i will again.

But got the most intense response.

I envision that in the near future more and more media will adopt such tools, automating the mass production of illustrations that are not particularly important, filling in less formal gossip.

Unlike collectible artwork, these mass-produced illustrations are single-use only. The style of painting is weird and absurd. Without the input of the artist's creativity, it still has a huge market.

We all know that generative art will eventually be used in this way, a painful process for most human drafters. adamszym means "nasty"
