Reasons for writing a series of articles on children's mathematics enlightenment and cultivation

In fact, many children have this comprehension, but the parents didn't notice or observe it when the children were young. And a little understanding does not mean that you can learn well, the method of teaching and learning is very important.

There is a little K in my family who is in the second grade of elementary school this year. Xiao K did a set of questions yesterday, one of which was as follows:

The general meaning of this question is that Kanga jumps from S to F, a total of 4 steps, how many jumps are there?

Another question is this:

The gist of this question is that Nelly has two square cards with 2 and 0, 1 and 5 written on the front and back. How many two-digit numbers can Nelly make with these two cards?

The above two questions were all done independently by 7-year-old K, who read the questions by himself, answered them by himself, and got them all right.

Why write the above?

Because his math was taught by me.

At the earliest time (I have forgotten exactly when), I did digital enlightenment as I wrote earlier, and then did it step by step. At the age of 5, he began to do addition calculations within 10 on paper. Before the age of 5, he was not allowed to practice on paper. Learn multiplication at the same time two months after you start adding calculations within 10. Since we started doing mathematics systematically, we have played at least three months a year. This year is even more exaggerated, playing for 7 months and only recently started to recover. That is to say, since he was 5 years old, we have not studied mathematics for 13 months, and we have studied a little every day for more than a year. Up to now, he basically includes addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of fractions and decimals. There's nothing to be proud of, because as long as you stick with it, most kids can do it. Besides, he's not 100% right every time.

Friends around me always say that Xiao K has comprehension in mathematics, so he can learn so fast. He does have some savvy in this regard. I discovered it when I gave him digital enlightenment very early, so I didn't dare to delay him and insisted on taking him to learn. However, in fact, many children have this perception, but the parents did not discover or observe it when the children were young. And a little understanding does not mean that you can learn well, the method of teaching and learning is very important.

I always feel that what I can do, many parents can do, and they can do it better than me. Recently, I started to write a series of articles about the enlightenment and cultivation of children's mathematics. One is that if I don't write it well, I will forget it myself, but because these methods of mine may be helpful to everyone.

I know that more people will watch the video, because the video is intuitive and clear. But I personally prefer text. Words make people think a lot more. Videos are easy to learn, but also easy to forget, and people who watch them are passive, stop thinking, or think less actively. At least I am. So most of the time I watch videos just to have fun or relax.

If you really want to give children a good mathematical enlightenment, you should think more. Others can only learn from it, and what I wrote is just a reference. I'm glad that it might be a reference for others.

Okay, let's stop here today, see you tomorrow.
