Inexplicable Ban [Master Chain Taipei Observation]

The "Straits Forum", one of the four major cross-strait exchange platforms, debuted on September 20. Taiwan's Mainland Affairs Council warned that it was forbidden to handle related activities in Taiwan, and Taiwan's official personnel were prohibited from participating. It is easy to participate, even if the forum adopts video conference, I do not want people from Taiwan to participate...

Do people-to-people exchanges between the two sides really need to be broken like this? In particular, the forum allows various fields to fully understand each other, and is basically a good opportunity for mutual benefit and win-win interaction. Is it also required to stop import and export?

Paradoxically, the Kuomintang picked up a gun on the US pig issue, and finally got a little bit of firepower, but it was very docile and silent in response to the MAC ban on the Straits Forum. Former Legislative President Wang Jinping hopes to lead a delegation to the meeting. If it comes true In fact, it is a plus for the Kuomintang. However, the current chairman, Jiang Qichen, does not encourage people within the party to communicate with the mainland. The Mainland Affairs Council issued this ban, and the Kuomintang may be even more shy.

The Mainland Affairs Council's ban hinders the "clear strategy" of cross-strait exchanges, but it is "ambiguously tactical" when it comes to local governments and non-governmental organizations. If Taiwanese people silently accept it like this, they still have to do business with the other side to make money. I hope ECFA will not. Interruption, isn't it full of contradictions? People-to-people exchanges across the strait should not be easily accused of crimes and warned of the Five National Security Laws and the Reverse Osmosis Law.

Restoring normal cross-strait exchanges may be difficult to count on Taiwan’s political parties. We also keep reminding the heads of Taiwan counties and cities that even Lai Ching-de and Chen Ju worked tirelessly to lead a delegation to visit the mainland in person to help villagers promote agricultural specialties. He once had close communication with the central or local officials in the mainland, but now he would rather let the grouper turn his stomach than see the local government participating in the commercial Strait Forum, what about innocent villagers? The opening of the US pig triggered a rebound at the grassroots level, but it was just a frozen emotional eruption.

Alibaba assists Taiwan's industries, and MIT has to rely on Chinese companies to help promote the global market. This is not a small slap, let alone the collapse of Taiwan's core industries. No matter how much political spit, can it become a curtain for Taiwan? The imminent ban on the Straits Forum is not only detrimental to cross-strait relations, but also blocks an important step for Taiwan's industry to integrate with the world. The Chinese market is no longer needed. Can we really hope that the United States will support it for a lifetime?

The U.S. is not Taiwan’s driver. In fact, the U.S.’s own economic crisis can break out at any time. Taiwan cannot give up its own Chinese market. It is even less possible for Taiwanese companies to become the core alliance of U.S. companies. In the face of the new form of the Eight-Power Allied Forces, both sides of the strait must take care of the Chinese positions together. , rather than allowing the United States to sow discord and reap profits. Taiwan's local chiefs and non-governmental organizations should not be deterred by the inexplicable ban, otherwise they will be ashamed of the villagers.

Guangzhou established the "Taiwan Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Service Center" to attract Taiwanese youths to invest in the economic and trade development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. How can Taiwan push talents out, and even regard land-based enterprises as enemies; open the door to see the mountains, the United States cannot give Taiwanese people a future, please take it back Ban, let the two sides of the strait return to peace as soon as possible.
