Summer Notes - 3 on Location, Energy and Identity

I have talked a lot about these concepts with my friends, and the reason why I want to write about it today is because some kind of deep troubles of the self need to be thrown to the surface here and now.

Position represents a physical relationship with the surrounding time and space. In people's life and in the world, finding a position is often the first priority. In public life, such as being a researcher who can shed light on some climate issues, providing experience to the world with scientific methods and perspectives, and in private life, such as being a father, providing support for the family and raising the children needed for the continuity of society. A generation, needed by loved ones. Position, with a certain structural orientation, makes people clear about their own sense of existence, and at the same time, due to the existence of structural inertia, people do not need to worry about their material needs from time to time. But above a certain level, the location becomes extremely difficult to confirm. For example, for intellectuals, if they do not directly produce material wealth for social groups, especially the basic needs of filling their stomachs and putting on clothes, what they provide is knowledge. Position is very important (here, a premise that individual meaning is attached to the group has been presupposed). So far, roughly speaking, human beings have at least two orientations of knowledge. One is science, which is guided by reason and uses a lot of repetitive experience as its method. It is not based on human understanding, but is based on method trust and reliable results. The premise; one is humanism, which can be rational, perceptual, divine, or poetic. In short, it is an all-encompassing interpretation of human brain thinking. In today's world, the first has confirmed its dominance through factual effects, the consequences of transforming the world - no country denies the power of science even if they do not necessarily understand the nature and methods of science. The second is as chaotic, interesting and dangerous as the world itself, it makes people feel their own existence, brings enlightenment and symbiosis, and constantly brings unknown and chaos, it is man himself. It is really difficult to locate oneself in these two kinds of knowledge. For example, a technician or scientist with a broad vision and strong self-awareness may feel a sense of dryness and narrowness, a state of being detached from himself, while a humanist scholar who is passionate and concerned about the country and the people may feel the danger of prejudice, A budding suspicion. The social scientists caught in the middle are also interesting, chewing dry and narrow, staying focused and scientific, and constantly discovering their own limitations and flaws in their methods. Such a description is in fact only general, and specific to each separate discipline, each occupational situation, there may be suspicious loopholes and unsatisfactory situations. So, how can intellectuals insist without doubt on their dangerous (compared to what ordinary people can do) and great cause?

Based on my own, always pink castle fantasy. I am familiar with the benefits of science and the habits of logic, but it is difficult to suppress the desire to form myself - to complete my own system and writing in thought, and I am also full of hope for poetic migration and jump. I want my expression to be clear, down-to-earth, as reassuring as the pristine earth, complex, tangled, as dynamic as the emerging ocean current, and alluring , with longing, juicy like a summer peach pierced by Elio.

Energy is everything we bipeds rely on, it drives all our longings, it ignites countless tragedies and comedies, it lurks in things, waiting for someone who suddenly sets sail to inspire its power. The realization of energy is particularly important for me at this stage, because I am already an overdrafted person. For youth, the yearning for the body can also be attributed to a desire for energy. Wandering among youthful cheeks and lush black hair is a grasp of the world and the possibility of being alive, from which we can never take our eyes off, the cure for most of our pains and ailments. In fact, a distinction must be made here, internal and external energy. Internal energy refers to our own life, most of which we can control, but it is often easy to ignore - just as young people can always dance to cure a serious illness, but it is difficult to realize the transient nature of this condition. External energy is like all external things. It seems to be able to be mastered, but it is always like a cold foreign object. Mastering it requires huge human cognition. Allocation of the strength of the human group.

The energy of the body has several interesting cognitions in terms of the current experience: 1. The total energy output of the body depends on the maintenance of rhythm, and rhythm disorders will bring about self-consumption of the system and cannot be involved in the outside world. 2. The energy output of the body requires the regulation of stimuli: emotion, coffee, change. 3. The energy output of the body requires a relatively stable external environment: it depends on the degree of self-defense. 4. The body's energy output has a strong tendency: watching, thinking, talking, writing, and activities have very different needs in different situations. 5. The maintenance of self-esteem and trust is crucial to the maintenance of energy, and the system stability will have a clear output. 6. A pulse of energy is greater than a one-time eruption of energy, so a long-term perspective and planning play an important role here. 7. Empathy is a huge drain on energy and cannot be expected in return.

The simple summary of the implementation of the landing is: life requires regular exercise, sleep and diet; when you are old, you should drink coffee and coffee, laugh when you need to laugh, hug when you need to go to bed, go to bed when you need to go to bed, cry when you need to cry, and everything It’s okay not to watch the bitter drama to vent; protect your habitat, even fight for it; no matter what input is too much, refuse and chew gracefully, stop gluttony; stay away from too much challenge to self-esteem people and circumstances, such as Sinatra's My Way; do all the long-term important things for an hour a day; when empathizing with others, consider a little more of the evil of human nature, and you may make yourself a little less hurt.

Identity mainly refers to a political orientation, that is, the grasp of the relationship between the individual and the collective. Obviously, we are now in the midst of a contradiction between liberal democracy and authoritarian regimes, which contains a lot of intertwined issues of history, ethnicity, culture, international politics, capitalism, etc., which cannot be sorted out and resolved at all. Many people take it for granted that the legitimacy of "liberal democracy" is a godsend, and many are unthinkingly attached to the material wealth brought about by what appears to be an authoritarian regime. Which is more divided than beauty in this country? very? I have this doubt. From the academic point of view, in the face of such a complex situation in China, we have not been able to find a relatively credible explanation so far, which makes people feel that everything is a game of the times, which makes it even more irrelevant. However, from personal experience and history, I naturally support the possibility of personal realization brought about by capitalism, freedom and democracy, which in fact frees me personally, like a road that cannot be turned back. This status is naturally a bit embarrassing in China, even out of place. What disappointed me in the end was that truth-seeking, the basic Western appeal, is almost a game in China, and it may be changed and subverted at any time. Therefore, personal expression is also regarded as a carrier of power. The power attached to it is more likely to be valued. That is to say, our people are well versed in the mere effect, so we will not judge the content of the value itself, but speculate on the results caused by the value, and manipulate the overall situation from this basic fact. This is basically a devastating blow to those who seek truth. Such people will only become a diligent tool to be used by others. Technological culture seems to have the basis for changing this fact, and once gave us some kind of hope, after all, the power of science, such as the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, was witnessed by the world. But it was only after I had some contacts with some people who had mastered technology in China that I found out that they were a mixed product of another kind of capital, history and technology, which was equally disappointing.
