【Comparison】Online English platform! VoiceTube HERO audition experience complete sharing (disappointing online customer service)

Because there are many online English platforms, I still don't know which way of class is more suitable for me.

I initially selected several more diverse and well-known online English platforms, and currently I have reserved four for audition, which are:

After the audition, the feedback will be provided based on six aspects : customer service, consultants, audition, teachers, price, and evaluation .

However, in this experience, the part of teachers and consultants could not be shared. The detailed reasons will be explained in the text.

Poor web design

After making an appointment for online tutoring, I will report to the platform on time.

(I am worried that the microphone and earphone equipment are not set up properly. I will enter the official website at least 15 minutes earlier to prepare)

After logging in to the account, you will directly see the "Experience Now" page , so click it and go to the class page .

Entering the course page, there is no teacher's picture, but it is presented in the form of a video.

I guess it should be that I entered the classroom early, and it is normal that the teacher has not arrived yet.

Since the subject of the video is exactly the same as the subject of my appointment for an online teacher's class,

Guess it should be to watch the video first, and the screen will pop up when the teacher goes online.

But after watching the video, the quiz practice is over.

It took a long time for the tutor to appear, and I was shocked that something was wrong.

So I jumped out of the video page and looked for information about online tutoring courses.

Later, I found out that the online tutoring is another page, not the video page I am seeing now.

So I immediately asked the customer service and told me that I didn't take the tutoring course.

I relied on the webpage to guide me directly into the course video, and I may be unfamiliar with the interface myself.

In addition, there is no consultant to help, so I thought that the picture of the video course was an online English tutor.

Hope the customer service staff can help to make an appointment again.


The customer service informs that the registered account can enjoy:

However, if you miss the appointment time for the tutoring course, you will not be able to experience it for free again.

So the video I just saw is an online course video, not an online tutor (fainted).

So I missed the online English tutoring course.

Although there is no online English tutor, but the experience of online video is still there.

Video learning is divided into seven steps in total, except that the first step is to watch the video,

Each of the next steps is a different quiz, and the flow is as follows:

1. Course Videos

The 1-1 learning method will first play an English video to generate an initial impression through the story, and then start the question.

2. Listening practice

2-1 Answer the questions in words, and then choose the correct answer from the two videos A and B.

2-2 After listening to a paragraph in English, choose the correct answer.

3. Recognize vocabulary

3-1 Play a video, the video will repeat the sentence below, and fill in the blanks in the sentence.

3-2 Watch the video and choose the most suitable vocabulary explanation.

4. Usage practice

4-1 Choose the correct interpretation or in other words.

4-2 Match the correct sentences.

4-3 According to the question, choose the correct answer

5. Oral dialogue

5-1 Watch the video, repeat the sentences in the video, and use the audio recording to evaluate the pronunciation accuracy.

5-2 For the same sentence, the second time is for the teacher to explain the pronunciation, and to simulate the pronunciation of the lecturer, repeat the recording.

5-3 Ask questions according to the audio file and choose the correct answer.

6. Wisdom Review

6-1 This unit can only be viewed in the formal course, and students of the experience course cannot use this service.

7. Full video

7-1 The video you see at the beginning is to capture the key clips, and you can watch the full video content after the test is over.

My Favorite Teaching Unit

The online video is a progressive learning. At the beginning, the students will understand the content of the article.

Then, through listening practice, you will be familiar with each word and speaking practice. By repeating the recording practice, you can make each sentence read more fluently.

The thing that benefits me the most is [ Speaking Dialogue ]. Through recording, the system can detect my pronunciation .

I will list the non-standard words I pronounce , and let me know which words need to be improved in pronunciation,

And there is a second practice for the same sentence, this time the teacher will share the steps of reading the sentence,

Liaison teaching will also be taught , and the teacher will explain and practice again, so that the whole sentence can be read more smoothly.

This is also my favorite part of video learning.


consultant.

No consultants to sell everything on your own

This one does not have consulting services , only online customer service or telephone customer service.

If there is a problem, you can only ask for assistance through customer service.

From the time I started booking the class to the completion of the online class,

During this period, there was no call at all.

The advantage is that there will be no sales, but the disadvantage is that it is impossible to accurately assess the English level of an individual.

And no consultants help you with course planning.

Even if I feel that the online English video course is not bad after the experience,

But what lessons should be taught in the future, and those weak points should be strengthened , these must be self-explored.

If you know your level well and know the direction you want to strengthen,

If you want to learn English through videos, you don't need consulting services.

But if you are like me, you are not very clear about your English ability,

Professional consultants are needed to help, and platforms without consulting services may be less suitable.

Inquiry customer service if the webpage is not moving properly

Due to the poor guideline of the web page ,

It may also be that my eyes are out of the window and I haven't seen the page of the real class,

Caused me to miss the online English tutoring course,

So I contacted the customer service for the first time, and said that I was online before the appointment time.

And it is earlier than the time to book online tutoring.

I just mistakenly think that the audio-visual course is an online tutor during the waiting time.

It is also informed that it is because of the guidance of the webpage and the unfamiliarity with the class process.

It will go to the wrong page and miss the real tutoring course.

Unexpectedly, the response of the customer service staff was disappointing, telling that as long as you miss the online tutoring course, there is no way to make up the class.

He did not empathize with my feelings, nor did he assist me from the standpoint of consumers,

Just responded that an account only provides one free experience, and there is no way to make up if you miss it.

Customer service without empathy

I can understand that the company has the right not to provide make-up lessons if I did not attend the class at the specified time.

But at the same time, I also reflected that I followed the flow guide and went to the wrong page.

Although the customer service helped me come up with a solution, they just asked me to apply for another new account.

You can try it out for free, but it sounds like a way to drill holes,

Didn't really solve my problem, maybe there will be another person with the same problem as me!

But the customer service only replied that it would be reported to the company, and did not help me ask if the company has a supplementary course mechanism.

Instead, he told you that if you missed it, there was no way to make up the class.

I was a little surprised at the moment, but I still accept this reply and don't ask for much,

But I silently deducted a lot of points for the customer service's reply.

Disappointing service attitude

It cannot be said that the customer service is at fault, but I feel very bad at the moment, and I feel that I have not been paid attention to.

For me, from the standardized response of customer service,

It makes me feel that the focus of this platform is not on customer service, and the quality of such service is worrying.

When encountering a problem, I do not empathize with the consumer's mood , but just reply according to the regulations.

Maybe this customer service colleague has his difficulties or authorizable specifications, but since a customer has asked,

Said that they are likely to sign up for the course, why not try to assist or seek accommodation with the company?

Still, the customer service colleagues have no performance pressure, so it has nothing to do with him. Anyway, whether he signs up or not has nothing to do with him.

(I believe that if it is a business colleague, it will be very active and solve my problem quickly 😂)

To sum up, I am actually unhappy at the moment when I encounter such a service attitude before I have a formal class.

Unforgettable audition experience

As mentioned above, because of the poor design of the web page reading flow ,

So that I missed the opportunity to experience online English tutoring,

Although the customer service staff told me that I can apply for another mailbox, I can get a free trial opportunity again by registering a new account.

But I think this is not a good solution, and the current response of the customer service is only a standard answer.

Maybe I don't feel very well at the moment, not to mention that there are so many platforms on the market, I don't have to choose this one,

Secondly, VoiceTube is a platform that relies on English learning videos as its selling point.

The online real tutor followed up later, but it does not mean that his online teacher is not good.

Just comparing the two, English video will be the main feature of this platform,

If you like to learn English by watching online videos and just need online tutoring, you can consider this platform.

But I still mainly take real tutoring as my primary need, and I don’t have to watch videos to learn.

So in the end I didn't want to sign up for an account again for the audition.

Due to the part of the online English teacher, I don't have any experience ,

It may also be that there is no relationship with a consultant, and the middle does not need to be drawn by the business.

Evaluation.

Reviews have not been updated for a year

Search VoiceTube on the Internet to find Google reviews.

The number of reviews is very small , 4.3 stars total 33 reviews, I don't know why there are so few reviews,

And the latest evaluation was stopped a year ago , and it has not been updated since then.

The fan group has 4.6 stars and a total of 253 comments, but there is only one latest comment.

And it is a negative review with a poor response system , other reviews were left a year ago,

It's been a year without any students leaving a message, which makes people feel weird, and I start to worry about whether the number of students is very small?

Or because no one uses it, there is no problem 😂

Otherwise, how come there has not been any feedback in the past year? Incredible.

Comprehensive evaluation

Since VoiceTube HERO does not have a consultant to guide , students need to explore and use it by themselves.

If you have any questions, you can contact the online customer service or call the service hotline for assistance.

However, because there is no dedicated consultant to provide services, it is inconvenient to have to start over with the customer service to explain each time.

However , the design of the teaching video is very careful , and the step-by-step learning is adopted.

By using AI voice analysis in the pronunciation part , you can know the part you need to improve,

If you want to adjust your accent, pursue foreign accents , and like video learners, you can choose this platform.

Due to the real tutoring part, because there is no experience, it cannot provide feedback,

However, the response of the customer service deducted a lot of points in my heart.

Fortunately, this is just a trial listening experience, and I encountered this situation before purchasing a class.

Otherwise, you will really want to cry without tears when you encounter such a service attitude after paying for it.
