Metaverse + NFT: First Experience of Spatial Online Gallery

Because I wanted to find a place to display my NFT, I searched a little and found Spatial ( https://spatial.io/ ), a service that provides Virtual space. You can simply think of him as a 3D version of Zoom, where everyone will build their own virtual characters to meet or interact in various 3D scenes.

Spatial provides free services and can also be upgraded for a fee. The free version has a limit on the number of meetings, but it is sufficient for experience. Because it is a 3D scene, if you use a VR device such as Oculus, you will have a better experience, but you can also use a computer website. After entering Spatial, you can choose to open a new room or enter someone else's room. To open a new room, there are many existing templates that can be used. There are chic and stylish modern decorations and forest style. After entering the room, you can also use the system presets. Function to display or install.

To put your own NFT, you must first connect your own ETH wallet. I personally use the fox wallet MetaMask. Currently Spatial seems to only support NFTs on ETH, so my NFTs on Polygon can't be put in yet. Select Integrations from Profile on the Spatial webpage and click Connect next to Ethereum Wallet. After the connection is successful, there will be an additional NFT button at the bottom of the room. Select the NFT you want to put in, freely adjust the size and position, and the operation is intuitive and simple.

On the whole, there is a place where you can show your collection of NFTs. In the future, when the infrastructure of the metaverse is more complete and VR devices become more popular, most of people's social behaviors will take place in virtual spaces like Spatial. The showcase of NFTs is a showcase of social status. Imagine that you meet a new friend now, you may browse his FB personal page, and various NFTs in the future metaverse will be your personal symbols.
