China Digital Times has selected 50 clips from the monthly popular online videos from January to December 2021, which include news videos, official propaganda, live broadcasts, netizen records, and spoof content. Compared with 2020, in the era when video has become the mainstream information medium, more and more online public opinion events are distributed with video as the starting point, thus entering the public eye and showing its unique content value. And the whole year of 2021 is also a year of frequent events. There is a huge amount of video material enough to be included in the "Annual Summary". Due to limitations such as time, we have comprehensively considered various factors and selected some representative content for integration. More content can be viewed on the Youtube channel of China Digital Times, the 404 Archives Backup Museum , and the [CDTV] website . Through these videos, we want to provide viewers with a "video observation" perspective on the Chinese Internet, presenting a picture of China that is not limited by content censorship.
