Where are the chairs going: Will Matters add a V?

There are several users in the forum with unique names and avatars, such as @jiangzemin, @wu Dunyi, @haolongbin, and then some friends feel that they have violated Article 4 of the community charter, which reads:

Content that violates the Community Charter, including but not limited to:  …
4. Impersonating another person or impersonating their affiliation with another person or organization; or posting any inaccurate, intentionally misleading, or deceptive content.

I have a few ideas.

First, "verifying identity" is a very vague process.

Exactly how does @jiangzemin prove that he is "that Jiang Zemin "?

Submit a copy of your ID? What if the user actually submitted one? Should it be taken to Yangzhou City Public Security Bureau for verification?

How to ensure that the verified account is always the same user? If he lends the account to someone else, should the verification be removed? It was stolen?

Second, "verifying identity" is again a political process.

Who has the right and responsibility to make identity judgments? Does Matters stand side by side? What should I do if the site judge is wrong? Or to be more democratic, forum users to vote who is the real account?

Who needs to be identified? How famous are famous people? Who decides which account must be screened for use?

Screened accounts, add V? If it is added, does it reflect some kind of approval from Matters for this account? If not, what's the use of verification?

Of course, either choice makes sense. My expectation for Matters is to implement "decentralization" to the end. As long as the court judgment is not issued, it will not matter (of course, it is not easy to manage IPFS).

This requires users to read articles with their heads on the forum at all times. This is not too much, right?

(Self-confidence: I like these chairmen very much, I hope they live long.)

In addition, in the second half of Article 4, "posting any inaccurate content" is a pocket crime . If the article comments are slightly longer, there will always be inaccuracies (after all, "inaccurate" has no precise definition), so it violates the forum agreement. Chapter, the site can delete the text lock number, I don't like it.

Of course, you can say that you believe that Matters will not use it this way, and I believe that too. But the meaning of the rule of law is that the legal provisions do not depend on the goodwill of the judiciary. Otherwise, the contract will not be signed, and it will be good to rely on everyone's free will.
