Tezos NFT Market Continues to Shine in July Even with Crypto Market Volatility

Despite the recent market volatility, Tezos’ NFT marketplace saw record-breaking historic sales in July. fx(hash) raked in nearly $4 million in sales, and artists including Marina Abramović, Iskra Velitchkova, Zach Lieberman, and Zancan were all successful on Tezos.

Famous concept and performance artist Marina Abramović made her NFT debut , netting over $300,000 in the first 24 hours on the Circa Art platform. Abramović's THE HERO 25FPS is a symbol of the artist's entry into web3 and the first example of performance art on the Tezos chain.

Other standout sales included a work by generative artist Zancan, which sold for $113,000 on the secondary market, making it the second-highest individual sale in Tezos history.

Additionally, artist Iskra Velitchkova's collaboration with Zach Lieberman earned over $350,000 in the main sale , making it one of Tezos' best-selling projects to date.

In addition to these top sales, the Tezos NFT art community is hosting an event called 1-of-1 Art Month, celebrating the minting of single-version generated artwork on the Tezos blockchain.

The campaign generated over $300,000 in sales in the primary market. In total, there are 7,670 single-edition artworks minted by 2,195 artists of various styles and mediums.

Some notable artists for 1-of-1 Art Month include Rubenfro , Laurence Fuller , Frederik Vanhoutte and Sutu .

Finally, auction platform VerticalCrypto Art hosted London’s first physical NFT festival, Proof of People , at the prestigious Fabric London. With over 2,000 attendees, the event's auction garnered a total of $64,000 in sales. The three-day Proof of People featured over 70 artists such as Misan Harriman , Mario Klingemann , Sofia Crespo , DJ Richie Hawtin and more.

These staggering sales figures and successful campaigns underscore the influence of the Tezos blockchain on the current NFT market.
